Why Sealcoat? 

Asphalt is huge investment for any property owner or business and it is extremely important to protect that investment.   When properly sealed and maintained your asphalt can literally last a lifetime.  Once cracks begin to appear, rain, snow, freeze and thaw conditions, along with UV rays start the process of deterioration.  In a short period of time, the cracks become larger and the asphalt begins to break up.  Sealing the asphalt before the cracks begin, insures a longer asphalt life.

Pavement Protectors only uses quality, professional grade sealcoat manufactured by Phoenix Asphalt Maintenance Co.  Once applied, Carbonseal leaves a deep flat black color to asphalt and protects it from UV rays and water damage.  Sealcoat must be applied to clean, dry asphalt.  Traffic should stay off the asphalt until the  sealcoat is completely dry - usually 24 hours.  

The sealcoat is applied by hand or with a squeegee machine, which lays the material into a thin, even coat, filling voids and small cracks.  The material is hand-cut around edges, walls and brickwork to insure complete coverage.  The material can be applied in either one or two coats, depending on surface texture and traffic loads.  

Traffic can usually return to the asphalt within 12 hours, but we recommend a 24 hour drying period for most commercial applications.
